Fire columns

Our signature piece. A tall porcelain column with a real flame at the top, in a straight or tapered profile, in any tile you like.

  • Hero column80 cm high, 30 × 30 cm. Straight sides and a glass cylinder around the flame.
  • Tapered column80 cm high, 30 cm wide at the top narrowing to 20 cm at the base.
  • Large fire pot80 cm high, 40 × 40 cm, for a bigger flame.

Every piece is cut from a single porcelain tile so the veining flows across each face and round the corners. Here are some of the finishes people choose.

Cut, mitred, bonded

Each piece starts as flat porcelain tile and is built up by hand in our workshop.

  • Mitred corners

    Edges are cut at 45° and folded together, so the pattern carries round the corner with no visible edge strip.

  • Resin bonded

    Joints are bonded with resin, a strong hold that suits both indoor and outdoor use.

  • Meshed joints

    Mesh reinforcement runs through the joints for extra strength, then the seams are finished by hand.
